With so many brands coming onto the market with different lash products, it's important to get educated on products and what is included in an eyelash extension kit. When looking at an eyelash extension training course make sure the kit includes the items listed below to best set yourself up for success.
Eyelash Extension Training Essentials:
A quality lash extension kit will include LASH TRAYS, No surprise huh? Ideally in your classic and volume kit, you will get lash extension trays of different lengths. Diameter length variations aren’t important because at the start you want to practice with different length sets.
Eyelash extensions are made of a premium synthetic material called Polybutylene
Terephthalate (PBT). PBT is a synthetic semi-crystalline engineered thermoplastic.

The adhesives used in the application of individual eyelash extensions are all cyanoacrylate-based. Without this ingredient, the adhesive would not work.
Cyanoacrylate is an ingredient that will cure contact with moisture, so stabilizers are added to the adhesives to prevent the immediate cure (polymerization) of the product on exposure to moisture and heat.
If you are a beginner, use an adhesive that has a drying time of 4-5 seconds so you can practice more efficiently.

Eye pads are used to protect the under eyes from fumes etc and foam tape keeps the bottom lashes down so you have all the space you need to create a stunning lash set!

There are unlimited styles of tweezers available to use. Each lash technician is different and as you grow in your skill level and career you will learn what tweezers work best for you. Certain tweezers will work best in certain situations and locations — i.e. different isolation tweezers can work well in different areas of the eye.
Some lash technicians prefer to use curved isolation tweezers to isolate inner corner lashes or lashes that are facing straight down.
Making sure to properly care for your tweezers is important. Dropping them can cause them to misalign and render them useless for effectively picking up lashes. Protect your investment by never dropping tweezers into the cleanser and always dry them on a flat surface after you have cleaned them. It is also a good idea to have a few pairs of tweezers so that you can have time to properly clean one set and have another one ready for your next client.
This provides a light mist to cure the adhesive when you are done with your lash application.
Use only distilled water in your nano mister. At the end of each day of lashing drain the water and let it dry.
The adhesives used by Lash professionals are commonly mistaken for glue. What is actually used is Cyanoacrylate adhesive, which is technically considered Acrylic Resin. Acrylic Resins don’t dry, they cure in the presence of Hydrogen. Hydrogen is in water. When introducing a micro-mist of hydrogen to the adhesive, we are able to activate the curing process immediately after the extensions are applied.
With this curing process, clients can get their lashes wet as soon as 8-12 hours after the extensions are applied. Too much water will also breakdown the bond of the adhesive. That’s why a Lash mister provides sufficient moisture but not in excessive amounts.
CLEAN LASHES ARE HAPPY LASHES, CAN I GET A HALLELUJAH?
Cleanse oils and dirt from both the natural lash and the extensions. Cleansing the lashes will keep eyelashes healthy and lengthen the bond of the extensions. Improving retention.
The Jade stone is used as a palette for your adhesive. Its purpose is to keep the adhesive cool and to slow the drying process. Once you have completed your service, you can remove any excess adhesive from the stone and then use acetone to remove any dried adhesive.
